As I wrote in my initial post, in the wifi networks window I see the network, and it shows I'm connected; so I'm def. not in airplane mode.

You can try uninstalling the drivers in device manager. They should reinstall automatically after you restart, but if they don't you can install them from windows update as long as you're connected to the internet (via ethernet). If that doesn't work you can try "sfc /scannow" (without the quotes) in the command line.

Try removing device from device manager, and reinstalling. Try different driver if that doesnt work. Maybe you just got 1511 update, and it messed things up.

Just had this. Do a full shutdown and startup. Worked for me after I pulled all my hair out

I have a computer that came with Windows 10, but needs to run software that's not compatible. Can I install Windows 7 on it and take the license off an existing (but dying) computer? How?

If it has a license key sticker on the computer you can use that otherwise you need to use your manufacturer oem install disk to install windows and it will license on its own

I don't have any CD.

It looks like there's a product key on the bottom. Do I download and make a CD from microsoft's website?

I got today my new Dell laptop & a samsung SSD 500 gb from my BF shopping spree , since its a new computer i dont need to clone anything, so i took out the HDD & put in the SSD, now what do i do next to get Win. 10 on my new comp.? do i just download it from MS on a CD and put in to my new comp.? is it that easy?
