This one is pretty good. There are many good adapters on Amazon. I randomly picked one of the popular adapters with good reviews.

My laptop won't shut down. Any suggestions?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

What happens when you try to shut it down?

You can always hold down the power button for about 10 seconds - that should do it. Make sure you saved anything that's open, though.

Give it some time to shut down. If that doesn't work, the only option AFAIK is to hold down the power button until it turns off or remove the battery.

Would it restart? That takes care of many issues.

To be more accurate, it doesn't even shutdown and restart. It logs out of windows then restarts Windows. Any clue?

Open command prompt (don't remember if must be as admin)
Type "shutdown /s /f /t 0" (without quotes)
Make sure everything is saved before hitting enter

I can't imagine I'd be lucky enough for someone to know how to fix this problem, but you guys are so good I figured I'd ask. I have a Dell 5130cdn printer, out of warranty. The problem is that while text prints fine, anything non text (like an emblem, UPS label, I guess graphics) comes out like double, fuzzy. I went on line and Dell has a number of things to do which doesn't work. They're telephone and chat support won't deal with out of warranty. So if anyone can help, please do. Thanks.

For starters, did you test it with more than one computer?

Nope. I would have to put in the drivers and stuff and connect it through the network, but I truly don't believe it has anything to do with the computer. It seems to be a known printer problem. I just can't get the fixes to work.
