Lol I know some people take this DDF a bit too seriously. Now we'll get screaming for going off topic.

I understand. I'd like to cross that bridge when I come to it. Right now, I'm just trying to get it to find a boot device.
I would suggest turning off UEFI boot, or the opposite.
UEFI was off. Turning it on boots to a UEFI shell.

I tried using several methods to clone the entire disk, including Macrium and Disk2VHD, but I keep getting the same error. I wonder if the MBR still isn't being copied.
And play with:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=42497
I don't think this will help since it requires Hyper-V, which requires either Windows Server, or the Enterprise or Ultimate editions of Windows.

Check the mixer. Both the master volume and the volume for the particular source of audio have to not be too low and not be muted.

Use better software - something like carbon copy cloner (mac) or clonzilla

What's the downside of useing samsung migration?

Probably low level software
May not work, may be oddly formatted, may not work with new drive, may install bloatware

With ccc or clonzilla you're getting simple copying that's been proven from solidly written software- better at getting a truly exact copy vs other crummy software- and its free

Okay.  So you say that I should rather go with the software that where verified working,  but I doubt that samsung migration which actually came with my ssd is bad.

I once tried and it didn't work properly. That being said, there is no reason not to do it, Samsung is great, don't bother trying to learn how to use an expert tool for one use
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

I doubt it's good- companies put out software like that all the time and it's usually terrible
But by all means use what you'd like- just saying what I would use
