I figured that even this thread can have a wiki.
If your computer or phone is giving you issues:

• Please read this before posting: 4 Reasons Why IT People Ignore Your Requests for Help

Thanks!

What if I'm connected to two networks, and both work. Will it choose the one with a stronger signal?

Basically, my situation is that I have one connection that always works, but is very slow, and another connection that works sometimes, but when it works it's much faster than the other.

http://speedify.com/ free for 1 GB traffic per month. Don't know how much after that.

If I only needed 1gb per month I'd get a freedompop :)

Thanks!

A) If I uninstall a driver, will it automatically reinstall once I reboot my computer?
B) Where do I uninstall?

What device?
For some odd reason my fingerprint reader and on of my USB ports on my laptop are connected and when one stops, so does the other. I've had this experience in the past. IIRC the driver had to be uninstalled and reinstalled and they both start working.

A) If the driver is in the windows update driver repository, it might
B) Device manager, right click the device, uninstall

To be safe, you should download the appropriate driver from the manufacturers website before uninstalling

I put a dvd into my laptop but it's not recognizing it at all, it won't even show in File explorer just to allow me to eject it, which means it's stuck. Any idea how to get it out?

If the eject button isn't working, there may be a small hole on the front of the drive where you can stick a pin to force it open.

Sorry was so flustered.

Ended up being a virus! It was duplicating all my tasks (it was not slowing the computer down at all) I only realized when a program that runs through the task scheduler was not working.

I opened up task manager and I saw it running 3 times, tried to end it but error out. Tried system restore.. failed!
Removed my recently installed USB 3.0 PCI Card... no change
Tried CCleaner nogo.
Stopped a few tasks from running... nothing doing!

It was at that point I wrote the post.

Then I thought maybe it's a virus, and after running mailbytes and adaware all was fixed!

Baruch Hashem

Side note it has been like this for three day today I decided to figure out what's happening
