Makes sense , how do i turn it off ?
Don't have to turn it off. Just make sure the file you're deleting is not selected in the file explorer.

If you really want to turn it off you can find that option in the right-hand section of the "view" tab in the file explorer ribbon. Just make sure the "preview" option isn't highlighted.

Don't I have to select the file first in order to delete it?

Wished I could've helped. Did you try the troubleshooter? Right click on the wifi icon on the bottom right of the screen and click on troubleshoot.

I'm having an issue with one of my computers. its a Toshiba Satellite E45W-C and it keeps randomly dropping the Wi-fi or not picking it up at all. i think its time i uninstalled and reinstalled the internet driver. consequently when i bought the computer it only came with Win 8 with an option to download Win 10 onto it. when i did that i first started having this issue and quickly learned that others were having this same issue. it soon stopped becoming an issue so i ignored it for the time. its almost a year later and I'm having this issue again. has anyone else had a similar experience and can s/o pls help me through this process. thank you so very much!
Yes it may be time to reinstall that driver

It's a known issue.  IIRC the fix was playing around with virtualization in bios.

I haven't checked the bios yet, but another person in the thread posted that if you restart the computer, you can put it to sleep right after. I tried that and it worked.

Do you have to use RAM in pairs? What's the advantage?

Go to Start menu > search for device manager > under "network adapters", what's listed as the wifi or wireless adapter?

You don't have to. There's a slight speed boost by using pairs (dual channel)

Got it. So if my computer has 2 (out of 4) empty slots, I'm better off putting in two 4gb sticks than one 8gb stick?

That's a shame, because if I put one 8gb stick it's easier to add another later.
