I have a wireless Logitech mouse/keyboard, model C-BG-17 DUAL, and it just stopped working. The pc says that the USB device malfunctioned and is not recognized. I have no idea what happened. It always worked fine, even in my current os - Win 10. Please help. Thanks.

Try it in a different computer. Try deleting the drivers.

Try putting it into a different usb port, if that doesn't work try restarting you computer.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Check if it's stuck on an update or there are new updates available.

I'm not sure what "stuck..." means, but I couldn't update it, as it is so old...

I'm not sure I understand you, I'm referring to Windows updates. If that doesn't work try going to device manager and looking for a device with a yellow error icon and right click to uninstall then take out the dongle, restart and plug it into a different usb port

My laptop just shutdown while plugged in. Started up fine. Any clue what it can be? Any diagnostic tool recommended?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

Best bet is to look at the event viewer for errors before the shutdown

Totally unfamiliar with this program but around that time under "application" I see error with description "The previous system shutdown at 1:43:46 PM on ‎10/‎23/‎2016 was unexpected."

Strangely after closing event viewer and reopening it I don't this logged anymore.

Possibly windows update
Update History shows last updated 10/19 although computer may not have been restarted since then.

Look to see what happened before that, we know it shutdown unexpectedly now you want too see what happened before that which caused it.

I have a MicroSD card which is corrupted. It seems as it is currently formatted to RAW. I have already tried CHKDSK, but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

EaseUS was able to retrieve data, but its a trial. So it must be able to be recovered somehow.

Have you tried the free Recuva recovery software? It is pretty good.

As DanH mentioned, TestDisk is even better and it is free. But it takes some knowledge to use it.

Recuva doesn't read the drive. And I'll try TestDisk tomorrow.
