Attach SSD via USB.  Open command prompt (as admin).  Enter the following commands (not including the ""):

1. "diskpart" (hit enter)
2. "list disk" (hit enter)
3. you will see a list of all connected drives. after determining which one is the ssd, type:
4. "select disk 1" (replace 1 with the ssd disk number)
5. "clean" (hit enter)
6. "exit" (hit enter)

Done.

However, your stuff will be easily recoverable - so if you're worried about that, you'd need to do a more "secure" wipe.
Same applies to HDD ?

Yes:

Removes any and all partition or volume formatting from the disk with focus. On master boot record (MBR) disks, only the MBR partitioning information and hidden sector information are overwritten. On GUID partition table (GPT) disks, the GPT partitioning information, including the Protective MBR, is overwritten; there is no hidden sector information.

You can also tell it to actual write data to "zero" each sector with "clean all".

Why do I sometimes have trouble loading pages in Chrome, but never on secure sites (banks, etc.)?
check if you have the same trouble in IE,
http://www.httpvshttps.com/
What that page actually does is compare HTTP to SPDY.
Thanks for replying. For some reason, your reply slipped by me, and I just noticed it now.
I checked, and secure is much faster, according to this test. I also set up a new Chrome profile, and I'll use it when I run into trouble, and we'll see if it's any better. Any other suggestions are welcome.

What's the easiest way to clone a SSD to a HDD? With Samsung migration I can only clone a HDD to a SDD.

You didn't say cheapest. If the HDD destination is at least as large as the source SSD, a dual hard drive dock with a clone button is easiest and extremely fast.

My laptop stopped connecting to Wi-Fi. I tried both at home and at work. I tried the troubleshooter and it says Wi-Fi does not have valid IP configuration. How can I fix that?

This just happened to me, this is how I fixed it:
Quote
a. Press Windows key + X and select “command prompt (admin)”.
b. Type ipconfig /release and hit Enter.
c. Then type ipconfig /renew and hit Enter.
d. Type Exit and hit Enter.

update: This fix worked only temporarily. It happened to my computer again this morning. I had an IT guy look at it and he said the anti virus that came free with the computer expired and was shutting down the internet. He removed the program and the internet is working just fine now.
