Try using this free ip scanner. I use it all the time and it's great. As long as you know the device name you'll see the ip from this. If you don't know the device name the router will probably not help either

What the make and model of the router?
It's a great tool,  thanks

Yes, it's helped me countless times. Glad it worked for you.
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

I rather like Wireless Network Watcher, it's also 0.35 Mb Vs. 8.78 Mb.

Wireless Network Watcher
More info here: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/wireless_network_watcher.html
Stooge's linked program has more features (although for the above scenario, unnecessary).

Does anyone know what Dell Foundation Services is? It's eating up my CPU (on an almost-brand new desktop)

I saw that. It doesn't say what it actually does. Is it safe to uninstall? Should I just disable it?

Yes I agree it is quite vague.  Do you use any Dell programs that came with the PC? If not, I would uninstall it

Not that I know of! Looks like I can always download it again if I need to, so I'll uninstall it.

Thanks!!

Does anyone have experience with the Dell XPS 8900? (This might apply to other Dell desktops too)

I'm trying to install a 3rd hard drive. As per the manual (link) it looks like I'm supposed to physically break off the "break away metal plate". Does that make sense?

TIA

When I load http://jewishbroadcast.com/ from mostly music on my chrome browser it doesn't work. I remember having this issue in the past ( with a different PC ) and needed to play around with some Chrome settings.

Interesting, it doesn't work in chrome for me either. So far this is what I found:

GET http://jb2.jewishbroadcast.com:8010/;stream.mp3?icy=http net::ERR_INVALID_HTTP_RESPONSE
jPlayer 2.5.0 : id='player' : Error!
Media URL could not be loaded.
Check media URL is valid.
Context: http://jb2.jewishbroadcast.com:8010/;stream.mp3?icy=http

I'l do some more digging tomorrow..

They are using outdated tech...and you should contact them to update.

(for more detail...it seems that they are using SHOUTcast Server Version 1.9.8, which is very old, and they should update to the newest version of the server that Chrome does support. Here's some discussion around it https://www.internet-radio.com/community/threads/latest-chrome-browser-update-v55-breaks-shoutcast-v1-x-html5-players.27560/)

ETA: It seems that Chrome will (after much backlash by a lot of affected users) re-enable support for this old server technology (which, BTW, Apple's Safari also doesn't support anymore) in Chrome 56 which should be out at the end of the month.  See here there response and a discussion all around it.
