I'm returning a laptop that has some personal documents on it.
How do I delete it in a way that it can never be recovered?

Dban is the way to go if you don't mind wiping the whole drive. Not sure what store policy is with that...

Why would the store have a problem, does it delete Windows etc.?

Yes, DBAN wipes everything everything. In your case, I'd use a File Shredder program to delete the files. This is one such http://www.summitcn.com/hdscrub.html, another one is https://eraser.heidi.ie/

I would just use CCleaner - wipe free space 7 times
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Are you referring to  ccleaner, wipe: free space only, Security: Complex Overwrite (7 passes)?

Resetting the computer back to an older version doesn't wipe it completely?

Unless the area of the drive where the data was stored is overwritten, data can be recovered.

My browser freezes up and stops working anytime I go onto a specific website (Groupon), what could be the issue? Works fine on all my other devices.

Tried a different one?  Or Incognito/Private mode?

Only in Chrome, incognito doesn't help. Works in other browsers.

Are you on the latest version of chrome? Click the three dots in the corner, the settings, then about and it will automatically check if it's the latest
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

Are any extensions enabled in Incognito mode?

Trump is wrong on two counts: The software used to delete Clinton’s emails is free, and no chemicals were used.

FACT CHECK: Trump is correct that Clinton used a computer program called “BleachBit”to delete thousands of her emails. But the program can be downloaded online for free and it does not use chemicals.
