Tried that.
I even reset my laptop (besides for personal files).

When I troubleshoot it says "a network cable is not properly plugged in or may be broken"

Sounds bad  :-\

Just get a wifi usb stick for a couple of bucks
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

I'm looking into buying a cheap laptop. Is it still possible to upgrade for free to Windows 10?

Any laptop you buy now ships with 10.

My friend updated with the media creation tool and it worked fine. But YMMV....

I can't turn the wifi on on my laptop.

If I turn it on, it automatically shuts itself off.

If I connect with a cable to my router I have no problem.
funny, I just had that, restarted it twice, and it worked. It usually takes a few refreshes in general to catch on to my home wifi.

Oh, that's good news.  Means it's not a hardware issue..

Keyboard not working? Can only type symbols, not actual numbers, and sometimes it randomly doesn't respond. Etc

Tried a brand new keyboard so it's software related.

Does the On Screen Keyboard work? When you open it, check if it thinks shift/control/alt is being pressed.
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

Buy OEM, you can find them on Amazon or Ebay.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Interesting that the OSK would work but an external one not! Did you unplug the first external one when plugging in the second one?

Also did you try multiple USB ports?

Hmmm... I think I'm out of my league here then. The only thing I could think of is to try updating drivers for the keyboard.

What’s the issue if a canon pixma printer is printing/copying at times a few lines fine then blank then fine or it’s so light almost invisible ? I put new ink but it’s still so faded.

Windows update keeps restarting my computer - biggest PIA.

Tried disabling it via services, via task scheduler, via settings.

Need help, thanks.
