Hi,

I Bought a new PC (HP 570-p033w) But I wanted to replace the Hard-Drive With an SSD,
So I got a new SSD And  Using My Existing  PC Installed Windows 7 To the New SSD And Everything Seems to work But when I  try putting the SSD in my New PC it won't boot properly it tries booting into windows and then tells me there's something wrong and asks me if I want to boot into System Automatic repair and if I continue if either gets stuck booting loading into Startup repair or sometimes it boots into startup repair but gets stuck indefinitely "Scanning my PC" .  So I thought something got messed up so I tried putting the SSD in my Existing PC and everything boots just fine.

Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong and Any Advice on how to proceed?
The drivers on your old computer are different than on the new computer. Your best option is to install windows thru the new computer.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

That's what i thought might be the case but when does windows install drivers specifically for my PC during the initial install?

Some will be during the initial install, and some will be downloaded afterwards via windows update

That's very weird, I've never seen that. Try a USB keyboard

Check in the BIOS if it's set to"UEFI", try changing it to "Legacy Boot".

Not exactly sure how to do that, is it the same as enabling legacy support?

Sometimes when I search cookies from a specific site, Chrome automatically closes. Any clue whats going on?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

I have my icloud photos set to "download and keep originals" but some of the photos are downloaded in full resolution. How can I force a download of all full resolution photos from icloud to my iPhone?

Some BIOS have a setting to use USB keyboards and mice in legacy mode. This could enable it to work even if Windows setup does not load the proper USB driver. If this is what you were referring to, go for it.

I reject avromie7's answer of using a USB keyboard. I assume he assumed that you had  been using a PS/2 keyboard until now and that a USB keyboard would be better. If you have been using a USB keyboard and are able to try a PS/2 keyboard instead, this could help, as it doesn't require drivers. This can only help if your system board actually has a PS/2 port (purple for keyboard, green for mouse); going through an adapter to the computer's USB port is no better than a USB keyboard.

This is a known issue with some builds of Windows on certain computers. If the above two changes are not possible for you system board, perhaps getting another build of Windows could help.

I am actually working the identical problem on another HP model now, trying to install Windows 10.
