Isnt that only once it has been used and then put away ? dont they sit in the warehouse for a while as well
Yes and no. A high percentage of hard drives die very shortly after first use. Also, hard drives with five year warranties when manufactured often are sold years later with only three or even one year of warranty. I assume there is a reason for this.

Anyhow now that i know its not a virus, what should i do ? repair it somehow or its not worth it ?
And would upgrading it to windows 11 maybe reinstall something correctly and fix itself ?
Anything is possible. Maybe reinstalling will help. Maybe not. You can't really repair hard drives and if you do you are risking whatever you put on it. If it comes to that, buy new.

The drive. SSD, though. No longer any excuse to buy a hard drive for the C drive.

Powered up my computer, I usually have to enter my code to get in, something went wrong and it says it doesn't recognize my pin, and requesting I set a new pin, but when I click on new pin it doesn't get me anywhere, so I'm locked out of my computer.
Any help is appreciated

few questions:
Do you have any data you need to save on the computer (i.e do you mind wiping it?)
There are 2 ways of getting in, code and password. Could it be you are trying to get in with the wrong one?
is this a microsoft account?

Try the sticky keys password reset. Here is a link for the first guide a found for it on google. Basic idea is you boot into another operating system with a usb stick. Change the sticky keys sethc.exe to cmd.exe. When you boot back into your hard drive press shift 5x it will open cmd as admin. You can change your password from there.

I downloaded some games to the Amazon fire tablet and then had TAG remove the wifi (chip?) from the fire tablet.  It appears the games were deleted by mistake.  Is there a way to get some games back on to the fire tablet using a desktop computer.  I tried unsuccessfull.

Anyone know of a way to transfer multiple notes in Apple Notes to a single document?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

What is the easiest way to know if a charger block or USB C or micro USB is worth keeping?

I have accumulated quite a lot of wires and I don't think I need more than 10 of each category.

Micro USB, if the pins are tight, then keep if not, then it falls out easily... As far as charger blocks and USB C, if they are a brand name, fast charging, keep those. Also keep those that aren't fraying...
