I just got an hp Pavilion and I find that sometimes that when I tap the wifi icon on the bottom right sometimes nothing happens, sometimes just the square comes up without any networks inside even though there are plenty of networks, and sometimes it's just very slow in displaying the networks.
If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it,
Thank you very much
Does turning on and then off airplane mode help?

Can you eventually connect and get decent range? If not, check the antenna connection(s).
Does turning on and then off airplane mode help?
Connections are good. Turning airplane mode on and off doesn't help.
Even when connected, sometimes it wouldn't show in the icon at the bottom. Seems very very slow at times. Sometimes clicking that icon or even the notifications icon doesn't even do anything

Run Windows update there may be an updated driver

Run Windows update there may be an updated driver
Or uninstall and then reinstall the driver.

Thank you very much!
I wasn't even able to run windows update so i went to hp's website and scanned to see if I need any drivers.
It gave me 3 things to download (one important and two recommended), and so far it seems like it's better. I guess time will tell.
Thank you!

Does the new Windows Defender do an adequate job, or should I get an Anti Virus program (in the past I've used BitDefender)?

Lately I've had this problem where when I hover over the firefox icon in the taskbar, I see one little preview window for each open tab, instead of one preview for the whole firefox window.

I just upgraded to Win10, and the issue persists. I googled a bunch but didn't find anything. Any ideas?

Thanks

Not sure if that's a bug or a feature.

If I knew how to disable it it would be a feature :)

Very annoying when I have lots of tabs open and it takes an extra click to switch to FF from another app.

Seems like it's a bug. Just tried it out on my FF and only one preview for all tabs. Try reinstalling?

Will I lose my extensions and settings?

1. Copy and paste the following into your address bar (in firefox) about:preferences#general.
2. In the "tabs" section, make sure the "Show tab previews in the Windows taskbar" is unchecked. (in the newest version of FF it's the last thing on the page)
3. Ta da
