I recently upgraded to a new Windows 10 PC, and overall it's good, but a few annoyances. I hope someone can help:
The touchscreen is moody. Sometimes it stops working.
I've researched these issues, and have not yet found adequate solutions.
Thanks.
BUMP. This is still a problem. Sometimes, if I close the laptop and then open it, it starts to work, but not always. Any suggestions? Thanks.

USB drive?
+1
I wasted time and money on "easy" transfer systems. I just used a flash drive a few times, and it was done.

Following AND interested! I wonder if this will fix my problem - sometimes when the computer wakes up from sleep, the screen flashes back and forth between the login screen and my desktop, and I can't type or click or anything. The only option is to hold down the power button until it turns off, and then turn it back on.

At least it turns on quickly :) B"H for SSDs!
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

I only have the free version of Adobe Acrobat. Any way to to enlarge the text of the actual file i.e. so the file will print in a larger text?

I sent a couple of PDF's to Staples to print. Two came out fine; the others were too small. Staples guy said he can't do anything, as its an issue with the actual file...
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

Was probably a lazy worker. When you have the print menu open you'll always have the option to change the scaling/print size.

I noticed that the margins in the copies they made are much larger than in the actual PDF I sent them. So it seems Staples actually shrunk the size, not that the PDF itself was the cause of the small size. Am I correct? (If Staples is indeed at fault, I will demand they reprint at no cost). Strangely when I just uploaded again to Staples I it shows the size like they actually printed, with much bigger margins than when I view the PDF in Adobe. Strange stuff...

How do I disable this annoying on screen keyboard that pops up whenever I go on chrome and click on a text field? It is turned off in ease of access. I think it is a setting in Chrome but not sure

The second to last post
ADG™ Level 1

Heather, If you don't care about your settings, you could reset them by clicking  the advanced link in Settings and then scroll all the way to the bottom and click reset. This may default the settings to turn off the KEYBOARD only if that is the default settings.

If a person goes to the chrome menu and clicks on settings, at the top of the browser you will see the Address box(omni box) with this -->  chrome://settings ,  note this is the same place you see all of your URLs when you go to websites like google, microsoft, etc.

To get a listing of all settings for the Chrome browser, change it to --->

chrome://about

and press the enter/return key on your keyboard after typing that in the address box.  Now a new page will appear(refer to my screenshot of what it looks like. I added a Clipping of that with this post)

Once the page changes to the ABOUT page, there will be a list of links to pick from, so click the first link --

Chrome://accessibility   <--- Click this

Once the page changes to that, you will see a list with options with—ON or OFF—by them.  If it says ON, the the item is disabled already. If it says, OFF, then the item is Enabled, and you need to click the OFF to disable the setting.  One might go thru and click all of them to turn them all off, as some of the settings apply to Extensions.

Global accessibility mode: off          To turn this off (Disable), click  OFF

If you scroll down on that page,  you will find a list of extensions and other listings offering to click them ON or OFF.
Accessibility chrome://accessibility/ accessibility off        < -- you might want to click this if it says OFF.

remember clicking OFF turns that feature off and clicking ON, turns that feature on. Even though I am tech, the first time I saw this kind of page setting layout, I found it kind of confusing, especially when I saw this on a Smart TV.

So if every accessibility setting is off on that page, then the word, ON, will be next to all of the items in the listings.

Do you have a program installed called wondershare studio, or something similar?

Yes.   I have wonderahare! I have a few programs from them.
Wshelper.exe is associated with those programs. I would suggest you save your work and reinstall them

I'll try to uninstall them.  Is that program a virus?

Depends where you got it from. You can run avast full scan and malwarebytes to find out

I got it from their website I actually paid for it..  Malwarebyts didn't detect nothing,  I can't download avast because I can't open my browser,  my AVG trial has just ended.
