I have a battery problem with my Toshiba laptop.

- When plugged in it says "plugged in, not charging"

- even if the battery has a 75% charge (I just bought a new one to make sure the problem wasn't the battery), if you pull the plug, the laptop shuts off.

- if the battery which has a 75% charge is in - the laptop won't start EVEN WHEN PLUGGED IN. But if my old battery which has a 0% charge is in - the laptop will start if it's plugged in.

Please Help!
TIA
Anyone?

Anyone?
I had the issue a year ago and after simply removing the battery for a few. It started working.

Anyone?
Are you using the original charger?
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Yes
Try taking out the battery and holding down the power button for 30 seconds

Tried that, didn't work.

Restart and try again but 1.5 years of updates will take time
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

What purpose roughly?  (because for typical Windows Recovery there is no difference between pro or home.)

I'm not sure what you mean "reboot". (reboot means turn off and on, but I guess that's not what you want.) Do you want to do a complete clean reinstall of Windows loosing all programs?

If you have the product key you can download the iso directly from microsoft over here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

Try the generic key. If you can't find it (google) pm me.
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.
