If your computer or phone is giving you issues:

• Please read this before posting: 4 Reasons Why IT People Ignore Your Requests for Help
• Restart the computer. Hopefully this will take care of any issues
• If your problem has not yet been solved, try to Google it. There may be a very simple solution
• On a Windows computer, a system restore may do the trick.

So what would be the advantage of a Dell dock over the StarTech USB 3.0 to VGA adapter?
I don't know the technical differences but the practical difference is that when you want to move your laptop you only need to take out the USB cable going from the dock to your laptop, you can plug both monitors and any other USB devices into the dock.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

I have two computers that I am trying to combine so that I can get rid of one of them. Many of the files are on both computers but there are also many files that are only on one or the other.

1)What is the best way to insure that I copy all the data before wiping the hard drive?
2)How do I minimize or eliminate the duplication of the files that are currently on both computers?

Are there any other admin accounts on the machine?

Is the default admin account active?
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

Not sure this is the right thread. Seems my computer has been banned by a certain online retailer. I can successfully place orders from other devices on the same network using the same act, but any order placed from my desktop will be automatically cancelled. I downloaded a program to change Mac address, didn't help. Any suggestions, short of buying a new desktop?
