Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling?

Destroy the hard drive as much as possible before tossing.

I am looking to add HDD on small business server. What are the  main things to look for?
A couple of options I found are:

https://www.amazon.com/Black-Performance-Desktop-Hard-Drive/dp/B00FJRS6FU/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1496680163&sr=1-1&keywords=wd+red+1tb&refinements=p_n_feature_keywords_two_browse-bin%3A6799355011

and

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0088PUEPK/ref=psdc_1254762011_t2_B01DOL05OC

Is there a big difference between Blue and Black?
I don't think there are major differences between the two. The black is available in higher capacities than the blue and has a longer warranty.

I created a hosted network and have been able to connect an ipad to the network. Recently it just stopped being able to connect even though the network still shoes up...?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

I've been using 2 monitors with my computer (set up by someone else).

I just moved the computer to a new location and I am having trouble getting the second monitor to work. I keep getting the floating "check signal cable" box. I tried unplugging, rebooting, etc.. Do I need to set up the dual monitor system again or once it was set up with this computer and these two monitors it is plug and play?

Right click on Desktop => Display Settings: Are both moniters listed ([1] [2])?
If not try extending display again.

Another suggestion (assuming it's listed in settings) is to make sure that correct input source is selected. You can toggle through analog/digital/auto with one of the physical buttons on monitor.

If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

I probably do,  gotta look for it. But if clean installing why not use a newer OS?

That costs money.
Then he would have asked for an OEM Windows XP (which he didn't), because his OEM key wouldn't work with the typical retail XP image.

Finding all the drivers alone will be a nightmare!

The older the os the bigger the nightmare to find the drivers. Windows xp was an absolute nightmare, windows 7 usually finds most drivers, windows 10 almost always finds all the drivers.
