There is certainly an advantage to the more expensive one, it is a higher frequency. But officially as per Dell the 8700 doesn't support higher than 1600, so you should take the cheaper one. (even though you might be able to get the faster ones to work eventually, it isn't sure and might make a lot of headaches. Beside the point that your old modules are probably 1600, and it is recommended all should be the same speed.)
Generally speaking, you won't notice a difference between 2. It's like a race car, what makes a race car great is all the little tweakes combined that make it work justg perfect but if you try to implement a few of those tweaks on your own car you'd never notice. So unless you're building a high end, well tweaked gaming rig I'd recommend getting the cheaper one.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Cloning (with the right software, Samsung SSDs come with an easy to use software) is certainly easier.

Yes (if you don't wanna save a few dollars), because of the guarantee it'll work, and if not you can easily return.

try a optical drive to hard drive caddy, something like this http://m.ebay.com/itm/281092850601?_mwBanner=1

Any reason why this doesn't (or shouldn't) work?

What do you mean? It should work. Have you tried it and it didn't?

I tried and it didn't work. I was told by a guy in the computer business, that this won't work, and the only option is an external HDD/SSD, but I can't understand why.

I had some files (including pictures, and some videos) which were mistakenly deleted from my computer, the files were also emptied from the recycling bin as well, is there any program or way to restore those videos/pictures which were deleted even from the recycling bin?

Recuva
Download it directly from piriform.com
Ideally You should recover them on an external hard drive or USB drive and not directly on to the hard drive as it can make it harder to recover.

Meaning to say if I would recover them to the same place which they were initially stored I'm just going to cover over some of the files?
(being that this specific computer which is only used for projects (word, excell, and to store files and the sort.)
It's not connected to the Internet, I shouldn't have a problem putting the program on a usb stick and downloading it on the computer without Internet connection?
 Thanks @avromie7

IMO EaseUS is better than Recuva. GIYF if you need the pro version.

I haven't tried it, but I've had TestDisk find files that Recuva didn't.

I have tried testDisk for sd cards and alike vs recuva which was amazing (recuva didn't seem to work well, lots of the files were corrupted when using recuva).

And regarding my computer I got over 1000 files, which will take forever to go through so doing another scan just for videos.

TestDisk is the best, the most thorough, in most cases that I tried.

beside the point that with TestDisk you can browse the folders with no scan before, and just see in red the Deleted. (there are more advanced and deep scans, but there's a simple way too.)
