i'm getting the following message when i try viewing saved passwords in chrome: "The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed".
It's a work network laptop and I am logging in wirelessly (not remotely)  to the work server. It only occurs when i'm logged into the work server, which incidentally provides my internet access and server file access  so i need to be logged in. No issues logging into the server via Windows Small business Server 2011.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Determine if it failed to sleep or if it slept and subsequently awoke (and when). The System log has this information.
There are any number of things that can awaken a sleeping computer.
Thanks.

Some more detail. When I opened the computer in the morning it was on but unresponsive.  Very hot, fan running, but screen black.  I did a hard reboot and it booted as usual.
I'm in Israel and my system time is EST.  So shutdown is about 11:30 which is 18:30 for me.

It seems to have failed to sleep.  There is no log entry for the time I shut the lid.  The first log entry after that is for the next morning after I hard booted.
Among the boot up log entries is an error:

The previous system shutdown at 11:24:28 AM on ‎5/‎13/‎2018 was unexpected.

That is roughly the time I closed the lid.  So it registered a shutdown then but failed to log it at the time and also failed to power down?  Or the system clock froze and it logged my hard reboot the next morning as happening the night before?

Chrome uses Windows auth to retrieve passwords.  You can try with this:

Check that the clock is set to the same as the DC. You might need to exit and rejoin the domain.

Recently my computer screen has been shutting off with the time limit I've set but my computer isn't going to sleep. I tried playing around with settings to no avail. I want my computer to go to sleep so it's password protected if I walk away from it. Any ideas?

I have an old cheap chinese tablet that stopped charging properly and then stopped booting.  While it still booted, it seemed that half the time it was plugged in to the charger the battery drained rather than charged, even though it said it was charging.

I opened it up and found that the battery measures at 4.1v when disconnected from the tablet and .25v when connected.  Can anyone help me diagnose the problem? Is there a better thread for this kind of stuff?  Otherwise, is there a forum for this kind of stuff?

My C:\Windows\Installer folder is about 50 GB while I only have about 18 gb of installed software. Is there any way to get the folder cleaned up?
There are a number of apps out there which will do this for you including a discontinued one from MS. The MS one was discontinued because it was making problems with other aspects of windows. Are there any which are safe?

My 256 gb SSD was saying that it was running out of space and I do not have all that much on it at all. Most files are on a network folder. I used Windirstat in admin to find exactly what is taking up all that space. The install files were 32 gb of it but even more than that, the windows search index file was over 80GB. After the last windows update it decided to re-index my whole computer. It took days. what used to be about 3-400,000 items was suddenly 800,000. I unchecked some locations and followed the advise given here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2838018/the-windows-edb-file-grows-very-large-in-windows-8-or-windows-server-2 to defrag. It is rebuilding nowand after about 100,000 items is already 9 gb. Any ideas? The inability to search outlook is a big hindrance.

No need to defrag an SSD.
Don't know of an eitza though for outlook, i've heard others with similar issue. i think they use a dedicated ssd for outlook searching..

Once it finishes indexing I will be able to search outlook. The issue is that with the indexing 1/4 done the file is already 32 gb. The index ends up taking half of my SSD.

There is a method to search outlook w/o indexing using outlook built in search. How many GBs are your emails
