I think it's almost the same:
1st part is copy from location A to location B in both cases
2nd part is deleting the original, this may add some delay depending on the size or amount of files
Was asking being that when you cut and paste you're deleting its original file.

As well, which option do you guys recommend when transferring files from a laptop to a mobile device?

Are you using a cable (USB)?
Yes, I was thinking that it was a garbage cable.  The entire transfer was in kb.
Never saw it go so slow, unless it was because it's a BlackBerry?
And the info was stored in the internal storage vs external so you can't claim it was a fake SD card, as well I only buy from a reputable site or seller so wouldn't come to that conclusion.

Thanks and I used Google for those other random abbreviated texts, not so useful this second.

Used this one.
Supposedly it's supposed to be very fast, not quite sure why It went to slow.

If your cable has usb 3.0 (as opposed to 2.0) make sure you plug it into a 3.0 port on your computer to take advantage of the higher speeds. You can usually tell because they are blue.
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

Aware of that, but laptop doesn't have that. And I'm not sure if that cable has that either.

I would say not to cut a transferring file since you might lose it if something goes wrong during the transfer...

Look at Language Settings in control panel (or in Settings in Windows 10), you should be able to remove it.

Interesting, that's where you configure which languages show there.

I just added it now, here's what it looks like:

Then removed it from language settings and it's gone from the bottom of the screen:
