you can also try clearing the browser cache (control-shift-delete)
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

My computer's browser's won't load any websites, it says "waiting for website". I did a diagnostic test and it says "your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (dns server) is not responding".

Anyone know how to fix this issue?
fixed, the Ad blocker was making issues

I have a weird question.

We recently got a Netgear mesh wifi extender. I have a printer which is connected wirelessly to the extender. When my computer is connected to the extender via wifi, the printer works fine. However, when my computer is connected via ethernet cable to the extender, I get an error when I try to print. And if I uninstall the printer and try to add it again, it doesn't find it unless I switch to wifi.

Any ideas how to fix this? It's the same network so it seems weird that it doesn't work...

TIA

Same IP range?

Tried adding the printer my IP instead of auto find?

Printer: 10.0.0.13
Computer: where do I find that? I typed ipconfig into cmd but it seems to give me a bunch of different ip addresses

The IPv4 Address from the Ethernet adapter Ethernet (most likely).

Is it supposed to start with 192?

Or with a 10 (like the printer...), or with a 172.16 (but unlikely.)

The wifi one starts with a 10 but the ethernet starts with 192.168 (not sure if I'm supposed to post the whole thing...)
is that the problem?

No issue posting the whole thing.

This is "the" problem. That means that while they use the same "internet" connection they are not on the same "network".

I don't know the extender very well, but there's most likely a setting there if it should also be a DHCP server or it should just use the IPs from the source router. (Maybe just On and Off for DHCP server, or there are is an AP mode and a Router mode.)

Got it! Okay will do some research. Is IPs the right answer to that setting?
Also, if I change the setting, will it mess up the other computers/phones that are connected to the extender?

Thanks for your help!

Yes

It will change their IP but that shouldn't matter. (And it will allow them all to access the printer)
