Got it! Okay will do some research. Is IPs the right answer to that setting?
I do not understand what your question means.

Also, if I change the setting, will it mess up the other computers/phones that are connected to the extender?
Mess up? No. It'll change their IPs, and they might need to reconnect/restart.

He was asking which choice to pick from this:
but there's most likely a setting there if it should also be a DHCP server or it should just use the IPs from the source router.
So the answer would be to use the IP form the source router

I wouldn't think the setting choice would be called "IPs" or "use the IP form the source router".

Thanks! Now they can all access the printer since my computer is the only one connected by ethernet. But there will be more so it'll be good to have it fixed. I just would rather not make everyone reconnect to the extender, but if it's the only way then I'll do it.

They'd usually get the new IP on their own (if they're set to auto connect), it's just that "if not" you'd need to restart or reconnect them.

I own a Lenovo laptop which unfortunately doesn't allow you to press alt + F4 to close a program, instead you need to use the function button.
Anyway to fix that? possibly a registry edit or good program?
(I'm able to switch the whole row to be Function keys, but I don't want that.)

You can probably trick it with autohotkey

You'll need to do a bit of coding but not too much for your use case.
Here are a couple of places to start:
https://www.autohotkey.com/docs/Hotkeys.htm

@ChaimMoskowitz can probably help if you need :)

Maybe check out the Keyboard Manager coming with Microsoft's PowerToys. See here https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/wiki/Keyboard-Manager-Overview

If that can do it it'll be easier than autohotkey

Tested now, works well:
Very strange, I can do any key except the F4 key!
For example my F3 key is volume up and that works, but the F4 key which toggles the microphone doesn't!
But alt F3 certainly beats fn + alt + F4  ;)

What do you mean you can't do? You press Type Shortcut and press (when the "press the keys" box is open) Alt+F4 and it doesn't recognize it?

Correct. It's as if nothing is pressed.

Good point!

It's possible that windows doesn't let you remap that key combination for some reason

How about selecting it manually from the list? (Press the Type Shortcut and then only F4 to see what name it give it.)
