Try taking out the battery, holding down the power button for ~30 seconds to fully drain the laptop, and then put the battery back in.
Non removable battery. Has a pinhole to disconnect the battery with a pin, put a pin in there and held power button for more than 30 seconds. Nothing doing. Still boots up to login page then starts blinking away.
I'm not who you think I am.

So what was it?
Click2Call extension.

It allows me to dial numbers from the PC directly.

It didn't help even when I disabled that particular site. I changed the settings ( in Chrome settings ) to only allow it to work when I click on extension after I visit the site. It then reloads and works...

Go into the computers BIOS settings. Does the screen flash while you are in the BIOS?

Any recommendation for software to record screen with audio? I would like to use on several Zoom calls.

Windows has built-in recording software for gaming but based on my sample that uses about 35 MG per minute. That would use up too much storage for me. The setting has an option to change the video frame rate to 30 from 60 per second but that is still too much for me. Are there other options within the Windows software that would significantly lower the video quality to make storage more practical? Thanks.
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

I've been using ShareX and it's great, but the settings page might be a bit too complicated:

You can compress each file after you record or do it on the folder and it automatically compresses everything inside of it.
Right click on the file or folder and click properties
Here you can see it went from 74mb to 8mb

It automatically gets extracted when opening it and recompresses when closing.
It only saves room when it's on your hard drive, when you transfer it, it uses the full space again. At least I think so.
This is called NTFS compression. You can look up more info about it

Troubleshooting and repairing hard drives is a complex subject, if their is stuff that's important on it, take it to a professional.

Is there a way to add a printer (Brother MFCL2710DW) to a WiFi network with a bunch of computers but only allow one of the computers to use the printer?

I am cleaning up my desktop and see a file titled "debug" and am not sure when it appeared. What does this mean? Any reason to just delete it?
