If your computer or phone is giving you issues:

• Please read this before posting: 4 Reasons Why IT People Ignore Your Requests for Help
• Restart the computer. Hopefully this will take care of any issues
• If your problem has not yet been solved, try to Google it. There may be a very simple solution
• On a Windows computer, a system restore may do the trick.
(This is a work in progress, please feel free to add whatever you may feel is helpful)

Yes there is a light on the power cord and the laptop is getting power from the cord. Just the battery isnt charging.

Thanks for your help. The thread advises that I download the BIOS file... In order to do that you need at least 10% battery power. and I only have 2%. so thats not an option. I did a reset on my computer. and also bought anew a/c adapter. I still have the issue. the battery isnt charging. What are my other options? Thanks again.

I'm assuming it's not under warranty or extended warranty via CC?

What if you take out the battery and just use it plugged in? Will it work and will it let you update the bios?

Perhaps try resetting your bios to factory defaults.
