Any solutions?
Coffee got spilled on a macbook.
All ports aren't working, otherwise it's fine.
Anything to try before giving lots of $$ to the apple store?
Not looking to hear about cc insurance :)
Other then opening it and cleaning it well, I can't think of anything.

I have a new monitor attached to my laptop and the display seems a bit fuzzy. I recall seeing somewhere in DDF that there is some tool within Windows to help configure it properly. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

Any recommendations for a program that can convert video to smaller data size? I know that VLC was/is quite popular but I saw that there may have been a severe bug with the software. Does anyone know if that is still a problem? Thanks.

Which severe bug? (Most bugs are relevant only if used for specific use cases.)

I'm using the Video Converter tool from good ol' ShareX!

C'mon! That was a joke-and-a-half (wasn't ever severe and wasn't even a bug on VLC itself, it was MAYBE affecting some outdated Ubuntu systems and only when playing an MKV file... even the initial reporters downgraded the severity right then). So there wasn't ever anything to be concerned about that.

Thanks. I have little understanding of bugs other software security issues and it came across as more of an issue to me. BTW - I like the reference to the president-elect):

I often have many Word documents open at once. if there are 16 documents or less open, then when I roll over the Word icon, the various documents are displayed horizontally. If however, there are more than 16, then they are shown in a list, one on top of the other. Is there any way to change the setting to show as multiple documents as a list even if there are 16 or fewer documents open?

You would like that specifically for word or for all open windows?

I have a few MP4 files that are about 3 hours long but only includes audio. I don't why but the files are more than 4 GB and there appears to be something wrong with the formatting. When I open them I can l listen to the audio but I am unable to skip ahead. I tried using ShareX and VLC to convert the file to MP3 or some other format but it does not work.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I was wondering if there is a way to convert by essentially just having it play the audio and record the playing audio simultaneously. Is there a program that can do this perhaps playing it at an increased speed? Is that a program that can "hear" audio being played without having it physically emanate from my computer speakers?

Thanks.

VLC should be able to play-convert the file:

I tried several times adjusting the setting and was not successful. Are you suggesting a specific format that would "play-convert" it?

How did the unsuccessfulness happen? I don't know the specifics that will work but I believe that if you can play it on VLC you can also convert it.
