Have an acer aspire vero 1+ yr old. From the start, it shuts down when I plug it in, apx 7/10 times. Any idea what this may be?

Not sure where this belongs, but what is the best and easiest to move migrate to a new computer.

Back story: My old computer has battery issues but the main issues the screen started flickering so I found a good computer on sale and bought it but its a pain to move things over, i need a easy solution.

Not sure where this belongs, but
You've come to the right place!

what is the best and easiest to move migrate to a new computer.
Also cheapest and quickest too?
1) Best - Copy off all the information to an external disk and then copy it over to the new computer. Install all the old programs on the new one.
2) Easiest - Pop out the hard drive and put it in the new computer
3) Cheapest - Do it yourself
4) Quickest - see #2

Sometimes the easiest is harder in the end...

Can you try safe mode? Also did you recently do a software update?
What do you mean by stopped working? Doesnt recognize anything at all? USB Malfunction?
What shows up in device manager?
My real Username is Flippy but I dont know how to change it...

Not sure if this is the right thread, I'm looking to buy bulk (±50) low capacity (512-mb-1gb) USBs for a decent price, I don't need the highest quality, just functioning and safe
We have been unburdened by what has been.

Unfortunately, there is no guarantee on the function if you don't get decent quality.
