want to post a screenshot?
Won't help. It's a quickly blinking circle cursor. A screen shot won't give the shaking (violent shaking).

I bought this laptop about 2 months ago ad the windows seem very small and hard to use. Especially when using chrome. Is this a resolution issue? I played with it zoom and resolution and nothing seems to work.

I attached a screen shot of chrome (not sure if you can tell from the pic) in comparison to firefox.

MS office ribbons also seems too small.

After googling it, it seems others might also have had this issue with Lenovo.

Any ideas?

Is it only a problem in chrome? If so, try control plus to zoom in.
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

Plug in speakers.  Same issue?  If no, then it is speaker related (as opposed to sound card or drivers).

<snip>
copy this into chrome:
Code: [Select]
chrome://flags/#disable-direct-write
and press "Enable"  (for Disables the use of experimental DirectWrite font rendering system. #disable-direct-write )

Does that help?

I've seen a similar issue with the Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro - its a resolution issue - found no fix.

i also have that laptop. this might help:
go to appearance and setting and make sure that "let me choose one scaling level for all my displays" is NOT selected. then try to play around with the font sizes(which are on the same screen). you should find one that works for you.

To make sure I understand, your problem only occurs when you plug in to the headset jack, but not any other time?

If yes, there is (almost certainly a hardware) issue with that jack.

Convinced Lenovo to let me return it even though I'm way out of return policy...

Aside from these issues I think I got a lemon. It was also Terribly slow. It didn't make sense. I felt like was on a  10 yr old computer

Dell Domension 9100 destop

Won't turn on, power button flashes every 3 seconds.

Already replaced the entire power supply, so that's not the issue.

Any ideas?

Ram?
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Maybe someone can help me. My internet has gone really slow all of the sudden. Sometimes, when pages dont load, it tells me to go into settings>change proxy settings>LAN settings> and then unchecked "use a proxy server for your LAN. About 5 minutes after I unchecked that, it gets automatically checked again and repeat of pages not loading etc.

Any ideas?

(im using chrome)

Do you have the same problem with other devices on the same network, or with a different browser?
Do you have a filter?
