Indiana Dunes, IN (2020) (Just a quick visit to "be yotze". Doesn't really count as much.)
Was Wind Cave NP closed? Didn't go just to be yotze?

Was Wind Cave NP closed?
The caves closed in July of 2019, due to saftey issues with the elevator, necessitating major repairs. And remain closed till further notice.

I am interested in spending a few days to a week by either Yellowstone/Teton or Bryce/Zion/Arches. (First week of August, but flexible)
Family w/ kids. Ideally, I would be based at one hotel that won't eat up driving time to daily activities.
Probably will first spend Shabbos in Vegas and then start the trip. Return to Vegas as well.

Yellowstone seems more our style, but we lose Sunday for the drive up and maybe even Thursday/Friday for the drive back, unless I can come up with a Shabbos option on the way. (We aren't too keen on spending Shabbos at the hotel.)

Utah is closer and allows for Sunday and Thursday activities. However, the heat may be too uncomfortable for us. Hotel options seem less here.

Lastly, I would love to use a Marriott 7 day cert Cat 1-4 here. But probably won't be enough for us without an upgrade. I could use points as well.

Would love some input.
Thanks

Jackson is normally a good option for Shabbos, but according to @Traveler718 the Chabad there is essentially closed at the moment.

Yes, this is what I told @Something Fishy, but since @BCL is asking about August, let me clarify that "at the moment" are the key words. The local Jews are currently terrified about the prospect of summer visitors coming in and bringing Covid with them, so at the moment Chabad is indeed essentially closed.

However, the shaliach there did say that as the summer goes along, attitudes may or may not change, and I could check back with him in July to see what's going on. So if you need to make plans now, you should not count on being able to spend Shabbos there, but if you have some flexibility, you could check in with him in a few weeks to see where they're holding.

Just to make it clear, the Chabad House is far from closed. Chabad Houses around the country are extremely active trying to help their communities in whatever way possible at this time.

However, their physical location and ability to help visitors has been severely limited

We just did Mt. Rainer and North Cascades this week with our kids this week.

Mt. Rainer was beautiful, and very kid friendly with deer, easy hiking trails, and beauty you can easily enjoy with kids.

North Cascades has majestic waterfalls, you can watch them as they drop down the sides of a glacier for what seems like 1,000 feet.

Never saw anything like it.

Both of them have many highlights that are best visited later in the summer.

Going to attempt to do all 3 in a week .
