I think this deserves its own thread due to sporadic information on ddf
I will start off with some basic info please feel free to chime in.
buy 1 paid ticket of at least $250(before taxes) get 2 companion tickets, each for $99 only valid for domestic travel within the us
attached is a blackout list of dates in 2013
second attachment includes 2014(it is not to clear)

No, you can't use this with a miles ticket....But i need direct out of EWR and US Airways doesnt offer EWR -> FLL direct....

yeah i know, but then i'd need to take off more from work...since i cant use this companion pass on Friday's flights

if i call they'll say no, as the passes say the certificate owner has to be one of the passangers, but i read some reports that they might not enforce it. The issue is that even if i get them to book the flight, can they cancel the tickets later on when i mail in the certificate?

I haven't looked this one up in a while but IIRC the purchase has to be made on the USAir card although they might not be particular about that.
