The rest of us respect a beard , but we dont go crazy about it ..
More important than yoshon, yes.

But you did bite. And I don't even understand your logic because lo sashchis is also a verse from the Bible.

Its not really a joke because not all shavers are kosher (although some are and I would rather use a Philips norelco without lifters than "heimeshe shaver")
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

just to set the record straight, the reason you don't shave is because of "lo Sashchis " but that's not the the reason you don't trim (assuming you don't trim) cmiiw

Since you asked respectfully (as opposed to others) the simple answer is 'yes.'

Yes. A beard is a normal part of a man's face. Removing it is abnormal. Like Bruce Jenner. In case you think I'm joking... not even 1%.
So why do you get a haircut? Or cut your fingernails?

Why don't you shave your whole body like Michael Phelps? Or do you?

Because there is an issur in the torah called lo silbash?

Except the gemara explicitly discusses cutting your beard with scissors and it clearly does not fall under the rhubric of lo silbash.

FTR, I do have a beard. I just don't get when people turn a singular belief that they have into the be all and end all when in the scheme of things it's not that critical. Like somehow shaving is equivalent to undergoing a sex change. Or chalav stam is the equivalent of not keeping shabbos (it's at worst an issur derabanan (yes I understand there is a chashash tarfus, but if not for the issur derabanan we wouldn't be choshesh))

Yes, shaving is on the same spectrum as gender reassignment surgery. It's chopping of your man-parts. Drinking cholov akum/stam, however, is not comparable to chilul shabbos. I think where you are losing me is that you think I am stam just comparing a small issur to a big issur just for shock value. I am not.
