Huh? Plants?

It's a road near Amuka that due to optical illusions or something, looks like a fairly steep hill upwards. In reality, it's not (I guess the surrounding hills throw you off...) and therefore things roll uphill.
its the epicenter from the earthquake that hit  tzfat

I highly doubt they had the technology to know that

But it is not easy to find or explain (unless you find other cars there obviously)
My first time there I asked three Israelis who kept sending me back and forth..

The best way to find is is as was explained earlier. On the way from Amuka to Tzefas, where there is a billboard with a pic of a cigarrette saying "one cig can burn down a whole forest' or something like that, turn left. Drive a min or two and you come to a T intersection. Turn left and you have arrived. I can't seem to find it on google maps now even though they have street view.

Anyone wanna post a G. Maps link?

How does science determine the epicenter. Sounds like just a sales pitch, unless they had seismic detectors back then.

The way to determine the epicenter of an earthquake is with 3 seismic detectors and triangulate

I keep hearing the optical illusion thing but it doesn't make sense either, its clearly going downhill - most of that road on the way to Amuka is downhill so its hard to explain it..

I agree. I'm not pro the optical illusion explanation either I had just never heard of any other explanation.

Are you guys saying that the earthquake caused the gravity on the hill to be reversed? How does that work?

Yea wouldn't that effect watches and compasses as well, and wouldn't Indiana Jones make some big archaeological find there...

Well.... That's what an optical illusion is, if it didn't look like it goes downhill it wouldn't be an optical illusion. See here.

and if it does have to do with the earthquake how will that explain the other thousand places in the world that have the same thing?

I've never seen the other places but from the linked description above it sounds like they appear like slight inclines and in reality are slight declines.  Kvish Hapeleh is fairly steep so it's harder to believe that it's just an illusion.

Gravity is a universal force that pulls things DOWN (i.e. towards the center of gravity (in our case the center of the earth)). There is no place in the known universe where things work differently. Barring any paranormal activity we would have to assume that the direction the car/water/apple is moving is DOWN, if it SEEMS otherwise the only explanation I can think of is a successful optical illusion.

See the video on this site:
http://www.sciencedaily.com/videos/2006/0609-the_mysterious_gravity_hill.htm

It is a slight hill.

Kvish Hapeleh is much bigger and has a cliff coming off the side of it.

Which adds to the illusion...

Okay, I found it on google maps.

Evidently the roads in question aren't recorded on Google maps but using Yahoo maps I managed to find it.
The cigarette billboard
How to get to the billboard from Amuka
You turn left (I believe sharp left) at the cigarette sign. From that point the maps aren't clear enough to determine the rest but watching this video (10 seconds in) may give you clues as to where along that road it is.
