Free flight?
« on: April 28, 2013, 11:01:30 AM »
In Dans post located here: http://www.dansdeals.com/archives/23168

He states "Don’t forget to book a free domestic trailing flight anytime in the year after you arrive back to your destination."

What does this mean? What are restrictions? And anywhere in the US if that's was my origin?

when using AA miles you can return to your home city (EG NYC) as a 'stop' for 6 months and then continue to you to your 'destination' (EG LAX, HNL etc.) for free

You should be able to still do it. Might take a few HUCA.

  • Location: The value of a forum such as this one is not in that one can post a question and receive an answer, but in that the question has most likely been asked before, and the answer is available to him that will but only use the search function.
  • Programs: 1. Search on google. 2. Search in the right board of DDF with a general word or two. 3. Read the wiki. 4. Read the thread. 5. Ask away.

I have seen this "free flight'' too many times already and I feel like I am losing out on too much, yet I do not understand it. Let's say I book a one way flight from say JFK - Rio De Jeneiro (Jan 30 2015) where and how (please explain exactly, because from the threads that I have read I am having difficulty grasping it) do I book the free flight?
