Guess I should have posted here for feedback:

Awesome shot pretty much all around. Only thing I would change is moving a bit forward to eliminate some of the boring boardwalk and lining up so that the edge is parallel to the opposite shoreline.

A slight bottom crop will help a bit for the moving forward part, but it's too late to align them now.

And I would've loved to see this picture taken during the blue hour, but that's not always possible from a practical standpoint.

Thanks; I can definitely do some (more) cropping of the sidewalk, but I thought it added a bit of character to the photo.

Can you explain what you mean about having the edge be parallel to the opposite shoreline? To my eyes (if I understand), the brown beam is parallel.

Depends what you already have and what you like to shoot, but generally the 50mm would be more useful.
And more interesting. Awesome portrait lens as well.
Thanks

Will a MicroSD with an adapter run slower in a camera (or computer, for that matter) than a regular SD card?

Talking about this main site deal

Yes. But depending on the camera it may have no practical consequences.

Which camera is this for?

Panasonic LX7
You may have issues shooting bursts at 11fps, but with the speed of the cards on sale and the lack of RAW it shouldn't be an issue.

Am I missing something? The LX7 does RAW...

At 11fps?
Sorry, the site I looked at didn't mention it...

Eta: get this card, it is faster (min 20mb/s) and the same price.

That I'm not sure about.

This one is also a MicroSD. Will it matter?

You asked if a microsd would work. If you want to get a micro on sale this would be the cheap one to get rather than the DDMS one.

If you want to go to full size SD, that is another story...

Thanks!

My Q was if Micro SD cards will be slower. If yes, I'd rather wait for an SD on sale.

So for the Panasonic lx7 would a 20mbp/s write speed be enough?

I'd wait for a good card to go on sale. Pity to have an incredible camera and use a lousy card to save $10.

Nice card, overall. But knowing your type of shooting I'd spring for an Extreme or the Lexar equivalent. Waterproof, shockproof, etc.
