Why bother?
If you can just charge without knowing what you're doing anyways?

(and ruin it for someone else)?
?
Why is the business owners potential money any greener than the customers actual money?

Or from a different perspective why is the photographers potential money any greener than the next business owners money that it will go to?

The costumer is gladly willing to pay (talking about usual circumstances), why do it for free?
Imagine a competitor to your business decides to start selling his merchandise at loss, would you say "so nice of him saving people money"? Of course not, he's just causing you and others to lose money.

If you want to improve your skills, there are many many opportunities that dose not include you working for free.
And of course I'm not talking about a friend or family member asking for some shots.
But if someone calls you, that he needs you for just 45 Min. for his daughters "Vort" or his sons "Upshern", Do not do it for free, its unfair to other people (and yourself).

And besides, as a general rule it's never good to be working for free, it ruins your image.
It is basically promoting that your work is not worth paying for.

Is the mode dial on Nikon cameras supposed to turn without pressing the button? Someone who used my camera started turning the dial without pressing the button by applying a little more pressure. I feel like the button is now a little loose.

If it has a button, it is not supposed to turn without it.

Yup, it was only a few days old. I just swapped it in for a new one.

Canon just added support for Google photos in their image.canon app.
The problem is that A. You gotta have a Google one account and B. You gotta upload everything first to canon and then again to Google photos. I believe in the old system they had an option to upload directly to Google drive and even youtube, is their still anyway to do that?

Am I missing something?

How does the tiny lens of an iPhone SE have an aperture of f1.8?

1.8 on a camera lens is a pretty big opening, clearly way bigger than the lens on the iPhone.

Thanks.

I didn't realize that f stops are relative to the focal length.

Thanks.

I didn't realize that f stops are relative to the focal length.

Hence why it's written as f/1.8, not f1.8. It's a fraction.

Also why smaller number = bigger opening.
