You can enter USAA into the CDP instead of the numbers, I haven't heard reports that they are but I'm not in the Hock

There are still some USAA products that are available to us civilians (investment accounts, life insurance) does anyone know if you'll get a USAA id card for one of these? If they're free?

+1 but if u go in the hertz/usaa web site they have a little card u could print, iv put on names on that card for a few of my friends, laminated it and they never had a prob.

What are you talking about. I've done it. Any personalized mail USAA sends you with your USAA number on it is acceptable. Its at least as good as printing your profile page.

Some area managers in the tri-state area have made the decision to only allow DEBIT CARDS as proof of membership nothing else.

The official agreement between hertz and USAA states you need to have a product with USAA not a member number.

I dont want to ever hear from you "What are you talking about" myself and others on the forums know more about thertz than you"ll ever know.

Yes, but don't say that a profile page is better than this. And the mailings I was referring to was from an investment account, which is one of the only USAA financial products open to non military members. Hence, the mailing is proof of a product, and not just a USAA number. Of course, if the manager insists on a USAA debit card, there's nothing you can do about it. However, this has worked for me. It may be that you know Hertz better than the managers I've dealt with.

The reason a membership card works is because it is indicative of a product. Hence, a piece of paper which is indicative of a product should also work. I know its worked for me, but I can't tell you if a profile printout would also have worked, being as I only tried this. Enough said, we're going in circles.

Should but they don't like seeing paper for some reason. They like cards. Not saying it never works but don't rely if u don't need to
