Thank you for your enquiry.

Unfortunately our supplier's in Edinburgh and surrounding areas have recently changed their terms and the minimum age we can hire to is 23. The best thing I could do for you would be to point you in the direction of a supplier called Thrifty, they specialise in hiring to young drivers.

Picked up in lax Tuesday and last night, and also picked up a reservation yesterday in a local edition and not once dos anybody mention a word about USAA or ask fo proof.

Hehe, A friend of mine was told in the Hertz Nanuet (Monsey) that they no longer rent to under 21, lol. He called corporate and they changed their tune quite fast...

Sign up online and find someone who can add you as an authorized user to his USAA bank account. You should get a debit card that should be enough. As far as I know, this is enough. Correct?

I'd suggest signing up for a brokerage account when signing up for USAA online; so you will have a "product" with USAA.

Nothing, but you can't sign up for a bank account anymore if you're not military.

It's enough for evidence, but if you ch'v get into an accident, Hertz may accuse you of unauthorized use of the CDP (which is reserved for members with a product) and refuse to extend coverage.
