having been on multiple cruises with Holland America, Princess, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian, My opinion is that you that you get what you pay for.  I would suggest that if you can swing it, spend the extra bucks. Theres a reason why some cruise lines are cheaper.   Also look into booking through the Costco travel site. Also if you own 100 shares(or more) of CCL stock you get $100 onboard credit for a 7 day cruise.

I've been eying that MSC Divina itinerary on the 11th. Price can't be beat for a rather new ship. Usually this ship does 7 day sailings but this is to occupy it between 2 charters. I have yet to try this brand and am thinking this is the perfect time to do so.
So are you doing that cruise?

Agree that the extra cost gives you extra quality. Can you please place those cruise lines in order of your cruising preference? (I'm assuming Royal Caribbean may be first? never been on Holland America..)

After hearing shmebeble TR and from others as well about complications of being mashgiach on cruise (as well as price tag), I was considering doing Alaska cruise that Kosherica goes on...fending for myself with food, not joining their entertainment but davening with them if they allow.

Did anyone ever do same cruise as Kosherica but just join the minyanim?

Their Alaska cruises are over now. You would be requested to give a donation if they allow you to use their shul IME.

Am I missing something or would this Cruise be perfect for Succos?

3 & 4 passenger sail free...

Now how can I find out about a minyan and Succah on board?

I know of 2 other men that are thinking about it.

We have different imaginations?

regardless of imaginations, there are also ship rules. (Even if you tried on your private balcony, they are 95% covered.) You'd probably have the most luck with carrying a pop-up sukkah onto each of the islands. And if they'd allow on board, then if they'd dismantle it each day, then wouldn't be allowed to build and eat on YT.
