This video could have been two minutes. Not really sure why they had to drag it all out.

How is this accomplished in a group?  Or does each person have to take the floor?
Both. It's a full weekend.

As many of you are aware, some Rabbi's are now declaring this organization a cult.

A recent report on COL from an actual attendee reveals some pretty creepy details about what goes on there, namely "touching someone else's heart".

I'm wondering if anyone has more information about this...

Here's how I understand it. According to R' Shia Hecht, COTS is a cult according to his definition of a cult, namely an organization that uses mind control techniques to achieve its goals. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, it depends what the goals of said organization are and for certain people the techniques of COTS may be just what they need to get over their issues.
As for me, if i plan on willingly handing control over my mind to someone it better be someone I trust 1000%, I don't know about others but my mind is a pretty important asset of mine.

heard from someone who went to their first group here in israel. He loved it, said its life changing etc, then he slowly after a few months realized that it is not as helpful as he originally thought. After a year, he feels they dont really do much help. Someone told me, if your planning on following up with a few years of therapy to fix the things that you uncover, then it will be helpful.

You should never have to touch another human being physically for self-help purposes. Either way, touching another human being that way is both awkward and Gay.

I agree it's creepy. But, seriously?

That's my opinion. A male touching another male in that way is gay. Obviously, you are welcome to feel differently about that.

I can think of many names for that, gay isn't one of them ::)

UPDATE: Inside information has informed us that following the dubious success of The Call of the Shofar, a new group therapy dubbed 'The Crunch of the Matza'  will be opening. If proved profitable, it has been rumored that 'The Shake of the Lulav' and 'The Irresistible-Drool-Inducing-Sublimeness of the Cholent' might consider opening their doors.

It's kind of cultish.

If anyone is interested in doing any research, you can Google Landmark forum. The COTS is just a repackaged version of that. You may need to do a bit of digging, because one thing they are great at is reputation management...

I have been to COTS. I know exactly what it is. About the touching... I'm sorry to tell you, but you're probably afraid of true vulnerability :-) touching is not sexual and has nothing to do with being gay.
But we don't have to debate that. Your entitled to your thoughts/feelings.
A far as the effectiveness is concerned: it is a peak experience. Very powerful. And transformative. But not for long.
If one had already been going to therapy, and worked on himself extensively COTS can really propell him further...
I know many people who went and not 1 has followed up with therapy.
So i maintain that its most usefull for those who are already in therapy but want an experiental "push".
