So last week I started a new job. I am sitting at a computer the entire day dealing mostly with vendors. Two things from DDF have helped me tremendously:
1. I am capable of sitting at a computer for hours at a time, doing repetitive tasks. I learned this by surfing the forums for hours every day and also from applying what I found there - ie filling out 4 identical credit card apps back to back. Or ordering 10 HP OfficeJet printers one at a time to take advantage of the trade-in rebate a few years back.
2. One of our vendors has an awful customer service rep who never returns calls and doesn't say anything helpful in emails. The usual wait to speak to her is 5-10 minutes on the phone. But thanks to DD I've learned to HUCA HUCA HUCA, and never take no for an answer. Or at least take no for an answer until you speak to somebody else.
