I speak to them all the time.
They cannot access a canceled ticket.
They transferred me to The refund dept and now I'm waiting for a supervisor

I don't know but IME they always transfer me when a refund gets complicated.
All in all I think it worked out.
They are "Sending it downtown" and the refund will post in 5 days
or I'll have to sit on hold again
