This place sort of reminds me of one of my local grocery stores. Except they would probably charge $119.99 for a bag of potatoes and chicken cutlets would ring up somewhere around $219 a pound…

Does ANYONE buy those?
I once had a men's clothing store on a mivtzoim route that charged those types of prices, and had customers whenever I would walk in.
It was the type of store that served a fresh Irish espresso to each customer...

10k for a jacket. $550 for a scarf. $1000 for gloves and $400 for a simple beanie hat. LOL.  Based on these numbers I’m going to guess you’re probably getting around 45 bucks actual value for the shoes and burning the rest of your cash for the name brand.
my (limited) understanding of people spending on name brands is as a way to feel good about themselves, to feel like they are in a different class. To feel superior (think; the jacket I’m wearing would not be affordable to 99% of the population). I’m not saying it is a correct feeling and I’m not arguing that it isn’t shallow, but this seems to be the draw. I don’t think many of the people who are luxury consumers believe they are getting their money’s worth in terms of quality etc(although being a quality product is a given for luxury brands) rather it is the exclusivity of it.( in the category of “being superior “ there are many subsets; the most basic 2 are conspicuous (they need the brand name visible to everyone else) and inconspicuous( they feel good about themselves by being exclusive, regardless of others knowing or not) I believe most “high ender”s are somewhere in the middle. I personally don’t dress or buy this way but from talking to family and friends who are this way, and reading quite a bit about marketing, this is how I understand it

Any new recommendations over here for comfortable dress shoes or all black sneakers that don't look too casual?

I'm curious if there are any recommended brands (that have good comfort and quality for the price) in addition to Ecco, Cole Haan, Rockports, Clarks, Allbirds etc. Also, among these brands, any recommendations of which specific styles are especially comfortable would be appreciated.

Personally, I've had a good experience with the Allbirds Wool Runner Mizzles in all black, but they are starting to fall apart after over a year of wear. I also have these Cole Haans https://shorturl.at/rVYZ9 which are very comfortable with better cushioning than the dressier Cole Haan's I've worn in the past, although they are less stylish in my opinion than some of those dressier but less comfortable Cole Haan's.

Thanks. They look nice, but a bit pricy. Is there any particular style that you would recommend?
