If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.

I have an open ticket from transaero that expires on October 14, and I don't want/need to use it by then, is there any way whatsoever to extend or give it to someone else? Because otherwise it would be a waste of around $600, which as a bucher learning in Israel is quite a bit of money.

You can not give it to someone else. Call your travel agent to see if it can be extended.
