If spend isn't an issue for you, and your spend isn't primarily in one of those categories, that's all worthless. Ink has more valuable SUB and points.

If spend isn't an issue then the Amex resy 15x is the clear choice.

Venture X is 2x everywhere and cap1 points are IMO are almost as valuable as UR. It's also good to diversify a bit.

Either way if you insist on UR I would do the CIC + CIU.

SUB, CIP is #1 of those listed. Point value, it's also number 1. As far as earning, that varies depending on how you spend. If your only spending to meet SUB, CIP is the way to go. If not, then depending on your annual spend, CIP or CIU would be the best bet. Obviously specific circumstances can apply to individuals that would change that.

I think you misunderstood. I meant that he should get both the CIC and the CIU for 150k total instead of the CIP. But yes ultimately it'll come down to his individual circumstances.

Best cards for VRBO?

I'd probably say Chase Sapphire Reserve. Chase defines travel quite broadly, so you should earn 3x UR on Vrbo. Plus CSR has best-in-class travel protections.

Best cards for VRBO?
if you signed up for the cap 1 venture X during the initial offer then you have a $200 vacation rental credit.
If you have the sapphire preferred then you have a $300 travel credit and it earns 3 ppd on travel.

I should have clarified: Other than CSR.

So Chase considers VRBO as "travel", and I'd get $300 free, + 3ppd on the balance?

That should say Sapphire Reserve (CSP does not have a $300 travel credit).

Assuming you haven't used any of your 2022 travel credit, then yes that's correct

Is this confirmed, that Cap One credits for VRBO?
