Has anyone had recent experience with UberX from Changi (to the Grand Hyatt)? According to this article, it looks like they do pickup at the airport.

Also, would you recommend waiting at the airport (arriving at 3:30a) until the first public transit train at 5:30a? I'll be arriving on SQ in R, so if I do wait at the airport, would I be able to use the Private Room, or is that only for departing flights?
I did uber from Changi - cheap and efficient IME

Taxis look a bit more expensive than Uber, but both look to be SGD20-30, especially at 4am.

So I'm going to be in SIN from about 3:30am on a Friday until late Monday night (12:05am flight out). I have been researching things to do, but I wanted to know if there was a better order to do in which to do things? Shabbos starts at about 7:15p, so Friday is a full day, as well as Sunday and Monday.

Some things I thought of doing:

Singapore Flyer
Marina Bay Sands (trying to get to the infinity pool)
Different gardens (which one's are the best?)
The zoo, or the night safari
Sentosa Island
Maybe a hike?

Does it make sense to do some things before others? Let's assume I won't want to do anything after shabbos (which ends around 8pm) unless there's no other time to do whatever activity you'd recommend for then.

Any tips are appreciated.

I didn't do the flyer, but that's because we did the MBS bar and got into the MBS infinity pool. Thought it was pointless after that.

Definitely want to hit up the Singapore Botanic Garden -- phenomenal. https://www.sbg.org.sg/

If you're adventurous, you can rent a bike and ride 30 mins north to Malaysia :)

Any tips for getting into the infinity pool other than wearing pants (not shorts) to get up to the bar for a drink? Better to go during the day or night?

Gardens look cool. How long can/did you spend there? 1-2 hours or 2-3 hours?

Biking to Malaysia really seems cool! Are there tours or anything to do once you bike in?

Be a good shmoozer :P

We spent at least 3 hours there... Orchid Garden is a must-see.

Dunno--didn't end up doing it.

Thanks on the first 2. I've been trying to look up biking to Malaysia. Seems cool! What about just taking a day trip there (not by bike)? Anything worth seeing?

Just how oppressive is the heat and humidity in Singapore (in the winter, not that it actually makes a difference)? Does it really affect the speed at which you can do outdoor activities?

I don't know about in the winter, but in the summer it's insane, think of Miami and multiply it by 100.

I've never been to Miami in the summer. Should I be scared? Summertime highs are only 4°F warmer than winter.

I do not think it should really affect you much. Just bring water around with you.

I went a couple of years ago in October and was really nice, definitely not like Miami in the summer.

If it was that way in Oct I'm hoping Jan will be even nicer. Thanks!

Warm greetings from Grand Club!

I sincerely apologize that we do not have Kosher food available in the hotel however there is a Kosher Restaurant in Singapore (refer to http://www.singaporejews.com, for more details),  where delivery may be arranged .

Is it worth an email? If not, isn't the kosher Coffee Bean now in Orchard Central (only 1.3km from the HG)?

You can send one as it can't hurt.

The CB is like 10-15 minute walk.
