FYI for all those under the impression that the coffee bean in Singapore is chalav yisrael-its not.
Its officially chalav stam(of singapore, not the FDA of america) i spoke to the rav and he said he knows some blogs have it as chalav yisrael but its not.
However, you can buy milk in the chabad store(long lasting carton type) and ask them to use this milk for you

The trick to say your going to the bar at the sky park marina bay sands still works. You dont have to get a drink at the end if you choose not to and i was able to do it with a baby and stroller. They actually take you 1 floor higher so you get an even better view. After you can walk down a few steps to the regular sky park.

i never been to HKG but i have been to SINGAPORE for a shabbos (this year)
and that was amazing
we landed on friday morning and left on sunday morning
friday we went to little india, Orchard Street and Chinatown
and motzai shabbos we went to the skypark (and obviously didnt pay), marina garden on the bay and we went for a tour in a boat
it was amazing

singapore it self there is nothing to see its not a place with a history
from zero they build this beautiful city, towers, malls, gardens, neighbourhoods,

this is amazing about it
how clean it is how people are, how educated kids are
thats amazing

Great Zoo, Botanical Gardens and the new River Safari and Gardens by the Bay are very cool.

Depending on the time of year, weather is usually better in SIN

Marina Bay is 1:30hrs walking from the JBC, in Sg that means your suit will be soaked, better to stay at the IC, Fairmont, Raffles which are a few minutes away and the outside of your suit will probably stay dry.

Personally I love chabad in bkk - chabad house that is - but the city I couldn't care for

Marina Bay Sands is not a hotel that you want to stay at. Better stay closer to the JBC and go visit the MBS

-100 one of the worst hotels service wise I have ever stayed at. I've never been to BKK, but SIN shabbos was ok. There is a nice park a walks away which is beautiful, but that's assuming you don't want to rest your feet already...
