The second comment clearly and very eloquently explains where this person went wrong:

" Your article is rather simplistic. You have bundled together a host of serious issues, and on that basis have decided that since people haven't effectively or appropriately dealt with some major problems, therefore every aspect of their culture and moral system should be allowed to erode. I don't think that there is a simple solution. I don't think that doing away with the prohibition of TV will necessarily solve all of the problems to make Yiddishkeit better and to make the new generation more pious and closer to Hashem.

TV has been a no no in frum circles for over 40 years. It is true that the internet, which presents worse challenges, has dwarfed the TV problem and we have yet to find a viable solution. But does that mean that we should concede? If that is your suggestion, fine , but that might not be the only suggestion, and it is certainly a real issue which needs addressing. As long as we don't have a clear solution, we can't do away with all old values, because we haven't properly replaced them with a well thought out new value system."
I'm not who you think I am.

It is much deeper than that. He has his facts wrong as well about some of the earlier Monsey polotics. One example is the eruv which R Yaakov Kamenetzky, who was a rov in Monsey at the time, was firmly against. There is much more to the story. I have no knowledge of the specific incident that he is bring all of these other ones into, but each of the others has much more to it than he is making it sound. Some seems to be with intentional malicious dishonesty.
Feelings don't care about your facts

Im sure it is. These people rather warp facts than change their beliefs.

Yeah, sure. So the self-hating Jew Jaffee can continue to spread anti-Semitism in New York.

Why dont people come out to vote?
My friends stated they are not registered Democrats. Thus they didn't vote.
