I did, I flew KTM-AUH-JFK all on Etihad in First Class even stopped in AUH \ Dubai for Shabos, I wore my Yarmulka the entire flight, the INTERNATIONAL flight crew and flight attendants knew exactly my background, no problems, I did order Vegatarain though (That's cause of other issues I have with KSML being edible on certain routs and certain flights), the Private Chef in First Class was from Bondi Beach, Sydney  and most of the flight attendents were from Asia and Europe.

Don't listen to the fear mongers!

I plan on flying economy with a family USA-UAE-Australia.
I have the choice of doing it on Emirates A380, or on Etihad 777.
Emirates is a bit more expensive.

Being that we will be taking two long haul flights back-to-back, comfort and good service is important to us.
So, I would appreciate if anyone with experience could weigh in and advise which is the better choice.
TIA

By closing the doors  8)

Or... not. They don't seem to care.

I'd say upwards of 80% of the FAs on these flights are NOT from the ME and don't even care.

Flew Emirates JFK-DXB and DXB-DEL as well as the return, all in the "back of the bus", had a really pleasant experience all legs of the trip. Probably best service I had in couch.

I was told today that Emirates First/Business Class is 130k/65k miles, transferable from MR, each leg JFK-MXP to upgrade from economy? Are the seats, Chauffeur-Drive service, Emirates lounge access, and better meals the only upgrades, and are they worth it?
I'd be using MR points, unless there is another way.The flight is on a 777.
Is this how Business and First Class actually look?
