I have 2 choices. One - read 117 pages. Or, two, see if you folks would answer me here.

I have to visit my sister, who's at the The Self Help Home  at 908 Argyle. I noticed a few restaurants around 20-25 minutes away. I'm going on Tuesday 10/31 - back to Brooklyn the next night. I'm staying the one night at my free Residence Inn Chicago Wilmette/Skokie (8.3) miles northwest of the home.
Anyway, any close place to daven shachris?
And which places to eat or get something packaged so I can eat in the room or plane? Need lunch each day, breakfast Wednesday and dinner, at least one packaged for the plane, the other could be eat in.
Hope this wasn't too confusing. I've never been to Chicago.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

OK, let me take a crack at this. You are staying up north right by the Old Orchard mall. There is a frum, more modern, shul called Kesser Mariv. They are about 5 minutes from you. If they don't have the right minyanim times, definitely try the other shills mentioned. Emma's Bagel Cafe is right there as well, and should have packaged stuff. They open early, and close at 7:30 I believe. Taboun Grill and Ken's Diner both are fairly close to the hotel as well, but a bit further than Emmas.  Milt's is right near The Self Help Home, about 10 minutes by car. Mizrachi on Clark is right near there as well. Pretty much everything Jewish in Chicago, is between your hotel, and the home, and can be stopped in to on your way from place to place. You can reply or PM with any other questions, I'll help where I can.

Stop being so lazy and go coordinate an Uber :P
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I would pay any ddfer to coordinate my uber.  Maybe that guy from Lakewood can make another business out of it, like fruber.
