Other Tips
Parking at ORD: The cheapest place to park is in the O'hare lot G. It's $10/day. Be aware that you need to take a bus to the tram (in lot E) which takes you to the terminals. This can take 20-25 minutes

Have a flight from ORD at 3:16 PM. How risky is it to leave WRP at about 1:45? Checking bags.
You should be fine unless the lines by check in are crazy. You should be in the airport by 2:05-2:10 and you hace till 2:31 to check the bags.

u should be ok, but are cutting it very close as security line to get to gate can sometimes be quite slow.

shouldnt be a problem. ALso, if its bad  at one terminal, you can always use security at the other terminals (except 5).

This may take longer than just waiting.

I'm well aware, but it can also be a 10-15 min walk each direction depending on the terminal/gate. Just putting it out there.

Any attractions open?
Thinking of doing a day or 2 to Chicago from NY.

Going to Chicago for a one night stay and looking to stay in the nicest possible hotel. Trying to decide between The Langham, The Peninsula and the Waldorf. I have Hilton Gold status so should be able to upgrade at the Waldorf. Thoughts?

I also was thinking of booking through Amex's "Fine Hotels and Resorts" since I have the Platinum card, but I was wondering whether any one has had success in getting any of these places to get a Kosher breakfast or order Kosher food using the $100 hotel credit (and if so, where they got the food from)?

I appreciate any advice!

Hard to answer given that all are likely operating in some kind of reduced service/amenities given COVID-19. In the past, I found the Langham to be the nicest, but haven't stayed at the Peninsula post renovation.

Thanks! Any experience regarding ordering kosher meals through the hotels?

uber should be about 20-25 bucks. Never rented a car there so I can't answer that one.
