Sadly, Evita, Milt's, and Shallots are not what they used to be.

I haven't been to Crunch yet, but I heard good things.
what happened to Milt's, it looks like Bryan is still chef there?

Any good recommendations for breakfast?
Going to be in Chicago for a day.
Thinking about doing Evita for dinner but looking for somewhere to grab breakfast as well.

Lincoln Cafe is excellent but no seating.

There are other choices.

For high end, excellent quality chocolates, either dairy (cholov yisroel) or pareve: Coco Artisan Sweets: cocoartisansweets.com - orders@cocoartisansweets.com - 773-917-7500 (call/text).

Candy Squared - www.candysquared.com - 847-420-9795

Also note that Illinois Nut and Candy is under new ownership now called Nut & Candy with much better service.

Evita, Milts, and Shallots are just not what they used to be. Go figure.

Best kosher restaurant between NYC and LA is now in CLE. Never thought I'd be able to say that.

Was in Cleveland a couple months ago. We happened to be right near Mendels after Shabbos. Wasn't hungry but ordered some smoked wings. I've been dreaming about getting back there ever since.
